Skeet was developed in the early part of the 1900s for shooters to keep abreast of their wing-shooting skills when out of hunting season.
The sport involves shooting targets of known speed and trajectory from several different points on a semi-circle.
Trap
The game of trap involves targets of known speed moving away from the shooter within a pre-defined arc.
Sporting Clays
Sporting Clays is an exercise meant to simulate game flushing in the wild. It features the best of skeet and trap in a golf-course-like setting. Shooters move through a 1.25-mile course, shooting a set number of pairs as described on the menu at each station.
5-Stand
5-Stand challenges shooters with the best of skeet, trap and sporting clays from a covered, heated (in winter) platform where participants move through each of 5 stations in a row.
